The "Pod" Experience

Swimming is an individual sport, but you rarely get there alone. As part of our Training Pod, you’ll receive:

  • A Reliable Roadmap

    A 16 or 24-week training program specifically for the 5k, 10k, or 15k distances plus foundational strength workouts, a proper taper, and a race-day strategy template.

  • Expert Guidance

    One 30-minute 1:1 consult with Coach Adina to review your goals and personalize your plan. Two 60-minute webinars to prep your training and hype you for the race.

  • Technical Feedback

    Optional Add-on for a 30-minute Zoom video analysis of your swim form.

  • Real-World Strategy

    Learn how to draft in a "pod," navigate the famous culvert current, and create a fueling plan that supports hours in the water.

  • Inclusive Spirit

    We celebrate every finisher. At Swim to the Moon, even if you don't hit the 15K cutoff, the Epic Races team ensures you are honored for the 10K distance you did conquer.

Conquer the ultimate distance with our most comprehensive marathon swim program. Designed for swimmers currently at a 7K weekly volume, this 24-week journey prepares you for the Super Moon 15K swim.

The complete path to your first 10K. This 24-week option starts with an 8-week foundational build to bridge the gap from your current 4K weekly volume to marathon-ready status.

Meet Your Coach: Adina O’Neill

Adina is the founder and head joy coach at Team B*REAL, an endurance sport community for athletes of any size, color, identity, age & ability. Team B*REAL provides swim and triathlon coaching, group workshops, and online courses for athletes at every stage of their fitness journey. Adina and her team focus on building a supportive, judgment-free community where clients feel empowered to try new things, dream bigger, and achieve more than they ever imagined. 

Adina is the author of Forward Is A Pace, is certified through US Masters Swimming, World Open Water Swimming Association, USA Triathlon, IRONMAN, Women Are Not Small Men, and is a volunteer coach for Special Olympics MA. She specializes in coaching women through the menopause transition, swimmers exploring new distances and triathletes looking to improve swim technique and efficiency.

Adina doesn’t just coach from the sidelines—she’s in the water with you. In 2024, she tackled the “back-to-back” marathon challenge at Swim to the Moon. From managing mid-race calf cramps to celebrating with athletes at the finish line, she understands the physical and mental grit required for open water success.
